NONPOINT Gets Heavy at The L (Elmira, NY) with Sevendust

Posted by Pop Deflators on

Florida rockers NONPOINT are on tour right now supporting SEVENDUST and their Animosity Tour; a tour twenty-one years in the making. During this nearly one month run on the road that started on September 9th at BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL, they stopped in Horseheads, NY at the area's new, premier live venue, THE L. Boasting a capacity of just over 1,000, the room was nearly packed to the back walls with many die-hard fans to see the two mammoth rock bands perform their new songs, and fan-favorites. NONPOINT, consisting of vocalist Elias Soriano, drummer Robb Rivera, lead guitarist Jaysin Zeilstra, rhythm guitarist Rasheed Thomas, and bassist Adam Woloszyn, had the packed crowd jumping, screaming, head banging, and moshing to their highly energetic stage presence and fan interaction. These current-day rock legends, touring for over 25 years, show no sign of slowing down anytime soon. In fact, during the course of quarantine, NONPOINT went all in on themselves by creating their own independent record label called 361 DEGREES RECORDS.

Since the inception of the new label, the band has released their EP RUTHLESS on December 27th, 2021, and earlier this month, released their latest track, Paper Tigers. Performed in it's pure, raw, and unforgiving nature to a raucous crowd, the fans didn't miss one beat as they were screaming back the lyrics to Elias; who goes on to say about the track, "
In 10 records, 20 years and over 150 published songs, I can confidently say this is the heaviest track NONPOINT has ever released." The Florida rockers also included many fan favorite songs to their set, including Ruthless, Alive and Kicking, What a Day, Breaking Skin, and a cover of In The Air Tonight (which the crowd voted for over Tribute) before they closed out the night with Bullet With a Name

The Animosity Tour is moving ahead with great momentum as it swings through Illinois, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Florida before it ends in New Orleans on October 1, 2022. Be sure to get out to the shows early to support the opening acts, Burden of the Sky and Bastardane. As well, be sure to check out Paper Tigers, the newest track from NONPOINT.
