PROMISE GAME drop new single "Any Reason To Party"

Posted by Pop Deflators on

After releasing their debut EP in February 2021, Southern NH-based Promise Game has built a true following known as the "PG Family" and has set the stage for an epic follow up release. This track truly shows the passion behind PG's music, as they take a giant leap towards a new sound that reiterates one thing: Promise Game is here to stay, and isn't afraid to make music they love without worrying about labeling themselves under one single genre.

The original demo of this track did not include vocals during the post-hardcore driven bridge, but after listening a couple times, the band knew this would be a perfect opportunity to have a featured vocalist strut their stuff. Joshua Herzer and his band Lions Lions have been huge influences for all members of PG as legends of the Boston post-hardcore scene. Collaborating with such a talented musician such as Joshua is nothing short of a huge next step for PG, and the entire New England music scene.

Lyrically relevant, creatively bound, and harmonically emphasized. Southern NH's Promise Game identifies themselves as Multi-Genre Punk Rock, driven by a strong balance of early 2000’s pop punk & other modern day genres. This group of long-time friends formed what is now known as "PG" in the early months of 2020, and released their debut EP It Won't Be Long Now... in February 2021. The EP's success and incredible reception of fan favorites "Take It Back", "Thanks for the Anxiety" and Sheryl Crow cover "If It Makes You Happy" has fueled up the band's gas tank, and there's no signs of them slowing down. The release of "Any Reason To Party" is Promise Game's way of giving the ever-growing PG Family something new and powerful - something they won't expect and can't stop listening to. With plans to release a collection of singles in 2021, there's no doubt that these guys are just getting started.
